Dr. Shaw is known by his peers as exceptionally dedicated. He is fluent in Spanish. His professional interests lie in family physician training, improving quality of care using avoidable factor information, and patient-physician interaction. He has obtained a Master’s Degree in the areas of infection and Health in the Tropics in the area of tropical medicine and hygiene. He is a former member of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine. Dr. Shaw maintains his involvement with community activities and is an active participant of the Children’s Christmas Holiday Party.
