She also served as a group therapist at The Healing Center, Seattle, and was a residential counselor at a psychiatric inpatient facility in Seattle.

In 2011, Crissie earned a Master's degree in psychology with an emphasis in child, couple, and family therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), a designated mental health professional (MHP), and a child mental health Specialist (CMHS).

Crissie works with children, adolescents, adults and families who are experiencing difficulties with their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, life transitions, and/or relationships. She takes a humanistic and family-systems approach to therapy, utilizing several techniques according to the needs of each patient such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, strength-based perspectives, psycho-education, play therapy, and art therapy techniques. Crissie believes that change is a process which occurs within a safe, non-judgmental space and is fostered within the therapeutic relationship.

In her leisure time, Crissie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, kayaking, watching movies, traveling and learning about new things.
