Jenna Caggiano began working at Sea Mar Des Moines Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Therapist in September 2016. She transitioned into the role of Clinical Supervisor at the Federal Way clinic in August 2019. Prior to joining Sea Mar, she provided individual outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in the Boston area. Jenna also completed graduate internships working with children with emotional and neurological disabilities in a therapeutic day school setting and with older adults coping with dementia in an assisted living facility.

Jenna completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish Language from Western Washington University. In 2015, she earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Jenna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. She speaks English and Spanish.

Jenna takes a relational, client-centered approach to therapy. She believes in each individual's capacity for growth and creative expression. Depending on the needs of each client, Jenna incorporates various techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and dance/movement therapy to promote the wellbeing and integration of the whole person.

In her personal time, Jenna enjoys traveling, hiking, singing, and taking dance classes.
