Kathleen Sharp is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington. She possesses 6 years of progressive experience within Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, and Addictions field. Her professional history includes positions in Case Management, Family Support, and Counseling. She relocated from Georgia where she maintained a Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) credential for 3 years serving children and adults with co-occurring disorders. During her graduate experience, she provided individual and group therapy at an Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse program primarily serving individuals 18+ with substance use and gambling addiction.

Kathleen has received special training in Adults Needs and Strengths Assessment, Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths, Individual Recovery Plan, and Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk. She also participated in the process of Georgia's Adult Felony Drug Court Program. She has been a member of the American Counselors Association (ACA) and American Mental Health Counselor Association (AMHCA) since 2014.

In her work and personal life, she is passionate about integrating the mind, body, and soul. While her treatment modalities align with CBT, Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, and SF-Brief Therapy-- she believes that being culturally competent in all aspects of therapeutic interventions is a vital framework in meeting her client's overall needs.
