Keara Sheppard began practicing therapy at Sea Mar in August of 2017. Prior to practicing at Sea Mar, Keara completed her undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Behavioral Forensics. Keara then went on to gain her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Keara Sheppard has 12+ years’ experience in community mental health working with children and adults in a variety of settings and in group and individual psychotherapy. Keara completed her formal practicum training in community mental health and continued to work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Hollywood, Florida, San Francisco, California and Las Vegas, Nevada before finding her permanent home in Washington in 2017.
