Lori joined Sea Mar CHCs Monroe Behavioral Health Clinic in March 2016. Prior to joining Sea Mar, she worked as a Mental Health Therapist, with a Marriage and Family emphasis, treating adults who had mental illness for three years. She had a Child and Family focus throughout grad school and integrated this throughout treatment, with a focus on marriage counseling in grad school, and family/child focus for almost two years with Community Mental Health, Mount Vernon and Everett, WA.

Lori received a Master of Arts degree in psychology with an emphasis in child, couple and family therapy from Brandman University, A Chapman University System, through Joint Base Lewis-McChord in December of 2013. Her prior specialties included Human Service work, with a Bachelor of Human Service, Management, achieved from the University of Phoenix.

Lori's experience includes clinical assessments, diagnostic interviewing, treatment planning, and individual, family and couple's therapy. Her therapeutic approaches are integrative; to include, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focus, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and/or Person-Centered and may include other approaches as determined by that which most appropriately meets the Client's therapeutic needs after an assessment of problems and an examination of presenting issues.

Lori enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, movies, learning about other cultures/traveling, and learning about new things. Lori is believes in the utmost respect of all client's individuality and emphasizes the importance of dignity and worth within each person.
