Melissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, and holds a Master’s degree from Antioch University Seattle in Psychology with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy. Melissa is also a proud Husky alum, having graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A in International Studies.

Before joining Sea Mar, Melissa worked with families in Kent, WA. During her two year tenure, Melissa worked with children (age5+), adolescents, and families. Melissa uses a strength based and collaborative approach to help clients address a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, life cycle transitions, trauma and parenting. Melissa is also bi-cultural and bilingual, which allows her to work with Spanish speaking families.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys, traveling, cooking, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and catching up on her favorite tv shows.
