Porsche Frye - Integrated Mental Health Therapist
Education: Master of Science
Institution: University of South Alabama
Board Certification: National Board of Certified Counselors
Languages: English

Porsche Frye began practicing psychotherapy at Sea Mar's Tacoma Medical Clinic in the Behavioral Health department in 2018. Before practicing at Sea Mar, Porsche completed her undergraduate work in psychology and anthropology. She then earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Porsche received training in integrated behavioral health during her internship.

Porsche believes that everyone, regardless of background, should have access to mental health services, as overall health is connected to mental health wellness. Porsche works from a person-centered, cognitive behavioral perspective with clients, as everyone is unique and there is no "one size fits all" method for providing services. Porsche has worked with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, grief, anger, stress, trauma, and other interpersonal issues. In her spare time, Porsche practices yoga, spends time with her family, and hikes. Porsche is new to the pacific northwest and looks forward to exploring more of what this region of the US has to offer.
