Rachel began working at Sea Mar Behavioral Health Center in Bellevue in 2016 as a clinical intern during her graduate program. She served primarily Spanish-speaking adults facing a variety of contextual and intrapersonal struggles. Rachel continues to work with adults at Sea Mar. She uses a client centered, humanistic, and strengths-based approach to identify and utilize the internal resources that are unique to each client. The recovery model is at the core of Rachel’s work, as she believes every person has the capacity to grow and heal.

Originally from the Midwest, Rachel attended the University of Minnesota and studied Sociology, Global Studies, and Spanish in her undergraduate degree. Rachel has worked with Latino populations in various settings over the last five years, including legal, educational, and other social services. She is passionate about serving and providing resources to undocumented immigrants and underserved populations.

Outside of the clinic, Rachel loves hiking in the PNW mountains, playing with her dog, spending time with family, and exploring new cultures and places.
