​In December of 2015, after working as a Prevention/Intervention specialist at Navos Mental Health Solutions, Rualdo de Leon Polanco began working at Sea Mar's Turning Point as a Group Life Counselor. He currently holds the position of Chemical Dependency Professional at Sea Mar's White Center Behavioral Health

Before joining Sea Mar, Rualdo earned his AA in Social and Human Services from the Seattle Central College. Rualdo passed his NADAC examination as a CDP and was granted his Chemical Dependency Professional Certification from Washington State Department of Health. Rualdo is bilingual and bi-culturally competent. He has particular strengths in understanding the multiculturalism in the US, and Latin American social and economic issues. Rualdo has background experience as a teacher for more than 20 years.

Rualdo enjoys the outdoor opportunities provided in the Pacific Northwest, as well as the many social activities offered in the Seattle area, such as hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening, dancing, reading and listening to music.
