​Teofilo Ramirez Jr. started his professional career in Mental Health in 1990, working as a C.D.M.H.P. assistant, with individuals that were in crisis and in need of psychiatric treatment in a hospital setting. He has worked with a diverse population as defined by age, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity and culturally, conducting assessments, individual sessions and groups to help them to identify their strengths from a strength's prospective and using motivational interviewing to help them understand their Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders to make effective decisions and planning for their own future. In 2011 he went to Bellevue University to become a Chemical Dependency Professional. In 2015 he stated working with SeaMar Behavior Health as a Therapist and now has transferred to the Intensive Inpatient Center where he is working with co-occurring individuals of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders and the legal system.

Teofilo enjoys spending time camping and celebrating life with family and friends.
