Part-time position available for our Renacer Treatment Center located in Seattle. Provides individualized education services to high risk adolescent youth in a secure residential setting. Develops Individualized Educational Programs (IEP’s) for youth who qualify for Special Education. Works collaboratively with the Chemical Dependency Counselors, Mental Health Counselors, and other support staff in providing integrated learning opportunities. Provides services on an individual basis and in small classroom settings. Expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction.

This person works collaboratively with the Chemical Dependency Counselors, Mental Health Counselors and other support staff in proving integrated learning opportunities. The Teacher-Certified provides services on an individual basis and in small class room settings.  Services are given to out of control, high risk, and runaway youth.  These youth have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems.
