Full-time position available in the Cannon House turning point residential program in Seattle. The Group Life Counselor III is a position that is part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing direct services to patients in a residential setting. Direct services may include a combination or all of the following: group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, evaluation, and supervision of patients. These patients have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have mental health problems. The CDP will be working in a recovery setting with adults who are recovering from chemical dependency. She/he will learn all of the duties and responsibilities of a CDP. Applicant will be responsible for organizing and providing direct counseling services to patients. Specifically counselor is the agent for providing services to patients in individual or group sessions. The CDP also performs assessments and intakes. These services are provided to adults and their families.

This inpatient rehabilitation center is designed to provide culturally sensitive chemical dependency services to patients who are at high-risk and require constant care and empathy to help in dealing with their Substance use disorder.

 

The GLC I is an entry level position that is part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing direct services to patients in a residential setting.  Direct services may include the following: group, care, intake procedures and evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients. Services are provided to high-risk, co-occurring substance use and mental health.
