Full-time position available for our Renacer Recovery House in Seattle. Applicant will be working for youth in-patient population. The TA or GLC I is an entry level Human Service position that is part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing direct services to patients in a residential setting. Direct services may include a combination of all or the following: group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, evaluation and supervision of patients. Services are provided to high-risk, chronic runaway youth and their families. These youth have a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder and may also have mental health diagnosis

Full-time position available in the Renacer Youth Inpatient Treatment Facility in Seattle.  Applicant will be responsible for organizing and providing direct counseling services to patients. Specifically counselor is the agent for providing services to patients in individual or group sessions. The CDP/T also performs assessments and intakes. Provides one-on-one group counseling assessment, evaluation and intake. Organizes and provides direct counseling services to patients in a secure setting. In addition, employee will be a liaison between the public and the facility. Services are provided to high-risk youth and their families. These youth have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have mental health problems. Applicants must have no history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of two years prior to the time of employment. Applicant should have demonstrated rapport, empathy for, and ability to communicate with recovery patients.
