Full-time position for either a CD Case Manager or Chemical Dependency Professional. The Candidate will be selected for either of the two positions listed depending on their experience and capabilities. The Chemical Dependency Case Manager is a person who is in training to become a Chemical Dependency Professional. During their internship they will work directly under the supervision of a CDP.  This person will learn all of the duties and responsibilities of a CDP.

Chemical Dependency Professional: The CDP is the liaison between the public and the facility.  Will be responsible for organizing and providing direct counseling services to patients in a secure residential setting.  The counselor is the agent for providing services to patients whether on a one-to-one or group basis, performs assessment, evaluation, and intakes. These youth/adults have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems.

He/she provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment. In addition, the Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and leads groups. The Licensed Mental Health Therapist assists the Program Manager and clinical supervisor to conduct clinical chart reviews. He / She will be required to follow other instructions as assigned by his/her supervisor. Must have the ability to accurately diagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans based upon diagnoses. Has an understanding of chemical dependency as it relates to behavioral health clients and an ability to coordinate with chemical dependency treatment providers to ensure the needs of clients with co-occurring conditions are met. The Licensed Mental Health Therapist must sign a permanent oath of confidentiality covering all patient related information.

Responsible for performing phlebotomy, EKGs, spirometry. Maintains Lab and x-ray reports and logs, processes specimens for outside referrals, keeps adequate inventory of supplies. Performs all tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with Sea Mar Health and Safety programs. X-Ray Technician: Operates x-ray equipment to photograph body parts on the patient, which the physician requires for diagnoses and treatment. This includes views of the extremities, chest x-rays, and others. He/She will also be involved in Quality Control and in some instances teaching x-ray technician trainees on the use of the x-ray equipment and processing. Perform related administrative and other duties to ensure efficient operation of the x-ray equipment.
