Sea Mar Community Health Centers is looking for a full-time senior systems administrator (System Administrator II) with extensive knowledge and experience working with Active Directory (2003, 2008, 2012), Group Policy, Exchange 2013, MS SQL Server (2008, 2013), MS Server, server migrations, VMWare, SAN environments (EMC VNX preferred) and high-availability server environments. Daily responsibilities include setting up, installing, configuring, and deploying virtual and physical, clustered and standalone applications server environments as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and conducting routine maintenance and performance tuning on existing server environments. The System Admin role also serves as an escalation point for infrastructure issues via the Helpdesk, which includes updating ticket information, assigning severity, prioritizing work, collaborating, mentoring, and assisting other system admins, network admins, and technicians with resolving outstanding issues. System Admins work under direction of Sea Mar’s IT Director and Infrastructure management, based in Seattle, providing oversight to our datacenters in Seattle and Vancouver, Washington as well as any service infrastructure located in our business facilities. Must be capable of independent work: developing projects plans, carrying out work based on project plans, functioning as project manager and communicating regular status reports on progress and disposition of open tasks.

Full-time position with Sea Mar Community Health Centers’ IT Help Desk in Vancouver. Must be available to work swing shift and weekend hours. Responsible for ensuring proper support of all organizational computer hardware and software operation to maximize uptime so that end users can effectively accomplish business tasks. Under supervision, this position configures, installs, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains all user computer hardware, peripherals, and software in timely manner. Acts as first line of support for employees seeking assistance with applications, network connectivity, computer hardware (desktops, laptops, and tablets), and peripherals. Escalates support requests to senior support staff as well as to other specialist IT staff members as needed based on defined criteria
