About the Job

 

 

 

Full-time position available for the South Behavioral Health clinics. Individual will do data entry, and will supervise the South Behavioral Health Financial Specialists.  The Financial Specialist South Region Coordinator is responsible for standardization in the south region and to make sure that all invoices are sent on time for all of the south counties.


The position is responsible for:


  • Attending managed care meetings and bringing the information back to the Financial Specialists.

  • Attend the Great Rivers BHO, Thurston Mason BHO, IS and Data meetings,

  • Oversees Clark County FIMC financial requirements

  • Provide training and professional development to newly Financial Specialists

  • Manages fiscal compliance for all south BH contracts

  • Work on BH EHR implementation

  • Serving as data entry and back up staff for any of the south clinics when the site’s Financial Specialist is out of the office.

  • Writing performance evaluations for Financial Specialists

  • Financial Specialist performance and productivity


 

 

 
Required Qualifications

 

The Coordinator must possess an in-depth understanding of the different types of medical coupons and the services coverage under each plan. This position requires that the person has knowledge or acquires a full understanding of the following systems within the first 30 days of employment: Avatar, TARGET, Allscripts PM, Provider One and Medicaid billing for Outpatient Mental Health, and Substance Abuse programs. The person must be able to analyze reports produced by the above systems and have the skills to project program revenues.  The person must be proficient in all Microsoft products.BA degree in Business Administration preferred and at least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
