About the Job


 Full-time position available in the Tacoma. The Group Life Counselor III is a position that is part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team providing direct services to patients in a residential setting. Direct services may include a combination or all of the following: group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, evaluation, and supervision of patients. Services are provided to out-of-control, high-risk, chronic runaway youth and their families. These youth/adult have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have mental health problems. These services are provided to adults, youth, and their families.


Required Qualifications


Has completed or are close to completing a B.A. degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field. Associates degree in Chemical Dependency and at least two years’ experience in working with at-risk population.

Proficiency in Microsoft Soft. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
