Our Sea Mar Community Health Center IT Team is looking for a candidate for IT Applications Team. This position is responsible for providing end user support for IT applications.  Primary responsibility for assisting IT staff in resolving application related issues.  Serves as a solutions technician for updates, upgrades and modifications within Sea Mar clinical and operational departments. Responds to questions/issues from clinical and operational users.  Participates in IT project planning and task completion As a Sea Mar employee, the individual in this position commits to adherence to these values to their utmost ability and endeavors to strengthen and embody this mission daily.

  • Performs user support tasks, e.g., Password resets, software updates, staff application account support

  • Assists with business requests for new functionality, configuration & system enhancements
  • Configures, tests, documents, deploys, and provides on-going support & support of systems and tools and their related processes.
  • Acts as a technical contact on major or complex enhancements and projects related to supported applications.
  • Educates users on the use of solutions and systems for optimal business value. Maintains support documentation and related knowledgebase.
  • Participate in after-hours support.

 

 
Required Qualifications

 

  • HS diploma or GED required

  • A+ Certification eligible desired

  • Medical systems (EHR, practice management, etc.) support experience preferred

  • Project management experience

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Valid State Driver’s License Auto Insurance

The ideal candidate must have interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills. Ability to solve practical problems in a variety of situations in which limited standardization exists. Must be able to generate and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral and diagrammatic forms. Able to make technical decisions, use independent judgment and participate fully in problem analysis.
