About the Job

 

Under direction of the Quality Improvement Medical Director, the Meaningful Use Quality Analyst is responsible for administering, reporting, tracking compliance, and assuring success in Sea Mars effort to achieve Meaningful Use targets.  S/he will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and workflows to achieve Meaningful Use goals.  S/he will also work on other Quality Department initiatives requiring similar organizational and analytical skills.

Main Functions & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Understand the rules, regulations, requirements, and interpretations of the Meaningful Use program, and keep informed of updates and changes.

  • Assure accurate and timely submission of reports and data to appropriate parties for compliance with the Meaningful Use program.

  • Be responsible for the Meaningful Use attestation process, review Meaningful Use reports, and report out Meaningful Use data on a monthly basis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and staff.  This position will work closely with Quality Department staff, Information Technology, clinic management, and front line staff.

  • Gather, manipulate, analyze, explain, present, and draw conclusions from data using advanced Excel techniques.  This position will maintain and audit data related to Meaningful Use, and for any other assigned work. 

  • Prepare reports detailing the status of Meaningful Use and other Quality Department activities as assigned.

  • Assist with analyzing and reporting on clinical quality measures and assist with developing strategies and tactics to improve clinical quality measures and close gaps.

  • Assist with Quality Department projects and programs.

  • Perform administrative tasks necessary for Quality Department functioning.

 

 
Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree in health sciences, management, business or related field is required.

  •  Minimum one year working or volunteering in a health care environment is desired, preferably in a community health center setting. 

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required.

  • Working knowledge and experience in a professional office setting, knowledgeable in the use of MS Office Word, Excel(high level of proficiency necessary), PowerPoint, and Publisher.
