About the Job

Full-time position available in Seattle, WA. In a comprehensive community health center system, Medical Department Coordinator Provides executive level administrative support for the Medical Department. This candidate will work to coordinate variety of elements for department including processes, providers, and staff as follows: 

·       Maintain, update, and coordinate review process for Medical Department Policy and Procedure Manual

·       Coordinate monthly Medical Directors Meetings and twice a year All Providers Meetings

·       Manage provider annual evaluation process.

·       Facilitate provider salaries and supplemental process

·       Serves as a liaison between medical providers, Human Resources, and Payroll departments regarding salary and benefits.

·       Responsible for bi-annual provider performance audit and chronic pain management audit

·       Develops and maintains Medical Department spreadsheets and access databases to ensure proper oversight and organization of the Medical Department.

·       Supervise Medical Department Executive Assistant who is processing administrative provider CME requests, medical department support, and helping with recruitment

·       Assist Chief Medical Officer in recruiting, hiring, and training of medical department staff

·       Maintain schedule, arrange meetings and conferences for the CMO

·       Provide follow up to assignments given to staff by CMO


·        Other duties and projects as needed and assigned by Chief Medical Officer. 

Required Qualifications

·       Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.

·        Should be able to prioritize duties and manage a heavy workload.

·       Knowledge of medical terminology. Use good judgment and maintain confidentiality.  

·        Ability to work respectfully and professionally with the community, patients, families and staff.   Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse population.   Sympathetic, mature, responsible and reliable. 

·       Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.


·       Bachelor’s Degree is related field.
