- We are serving approximately 225 clients and families with our program.
WIC:
- This office serves approximately 1000 clients every month.
- Applicants go through a screening process that consists of measuring weight, height, and hemoglobin as well as a health and nutritional interview.
- WIC offers a variety of interactive classes for all age-groups.
- Clients determined to be higher risk are referred to the WIC Dietitian who works with them to develop a personalized Nutrition care plan.
- The WIC program is funded at the federal, state and agency level.
