Additional services:
- WIC: Services and nutritional counseling are provided by two staff working part-time here and covering other sites. The staff works closely with our medical providers to make certain patients are enrolled in WIC programs and receive the services and counseling they need.
- Maternal support services: A Social Worker, Case Manager, and part time RN support our patients who are pregnant or have small children. They assist the patients with accessing hospital services and other community services and programs. Home visits supplement the clinic visits.
- Health education: A Health Educator provides services to Tacoma, Puyallup, and the Treatment Center. In addition to coordinating the Chronic Disease registry program, the Health Educator provides HIV counseling, smoking cessation support, and comprehensive patient education material and consultations.
