Linda Simoneaux joined the nursing team at Sea Mar's Tacoma Medical Clinic in July 2012.

In 2009, Linda earned a Master's degree in Nursing at Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland, Wash., and is a certified family nurse practitioner. She earned a Bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Washington.

Before joining Sea Mar, Linda worked as a family nurse practitioner at Harrison Health Partners Primary Care in Belfair, Wash., and as a medical/surgical nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Wash. She also served for five years as a medical research associate at Ventana Medical Systems in Oro Valley, Arizona.

Linda brings experience in a family-practice setting serving under-insured and non-insured populations, seeing as many as 18-20 patients daily. She has delivered patient education on disease prevention and has advised patients on health and nutrition, disease prevention, and proper medication usage. She also has participated as a clinical preceptor for nurse-practitioner students.

Linda believes in approaching health care with a comprehensive and holistic approach. Her goal is to help individuals and families achieve optimal health through disease prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles.

When not working, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She appreciates the outdoors by hiking, cycling, and mountain climbing.
