Jungjoo is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Credentialing Center with an expertise in adult-gerontology primary care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and joined Sea Mar at Puyallup Medical Clinic in September 2014. She has clinical experiences in acute care and primary care for medically underserved populations, correctional medicine, and End-of-Life care.

Jungjoo received honorable DAISY award for extraordinary nurses in 2008 after being nominated by her patients and coworkers for her reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence. Throughout her career, Jungjoo has been providing patient-focused, high quality care and evidence-based practice with an emphasis on prevention. She upholds her personal mission of advocating diverse population of Puget Sound area by promoting excellence and justice in practice while strongly supports accessible healthcare. She also regularly volunteers at a community church to provide care for uninsured and undocumented citizens.

When she does not work, Jungjoo enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and walking trails.
