Dr. Jeffrey Barrett joined Sea Mar CHC’s Clark County Medical Clinic as a family practice physician in November 2012. Prior to joining Sea Mar, Dr. Barrett worked at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, Cornelius, Oregon, and Providence Medical Group, Portland, Oregon, in 2011.
In 2008, Dr. Barrett earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, where he also earned a Master’s degree in public health in 2004. He completed his residency in 2011 at Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Barrett is committed to serving those in need and he has served in numerous volunteer activities. In 2005-08, he helped organize a student-sponsored free clinic in response to Hurricane Katrina. He also served as a volunteer in a homeless shelter providing TB testing and a public clinic in New Orleans doing public outreach and depression screening. In 2007, Dr. Barrett was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Barrett enjoys the guitar, soccer, biking and gardening.
