Director of Finance: Full-time position available immediately. Seeking a Director of Finance to direct the operations for our quickly-growing, large network of primary care clinics, skilled nursing facility, behavioral health programs, and two on-site pharmacies. As a member of the Leadership team, this individual contributes to the successful achievement of the organization’s mission and strategic initiatives by providing leadership, direction and oversight for the Finance Department.

 

The position reports to the Vice President of Finance. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field with a minimum of 5 years experience and 3 years experience at a managerial level with a preference for experience in the healthcare industry.

Education/Experience: CPA and/or MBA with Healthcare experience. Sea Mar’s CIO will be responsible for all information technology and telecommunications functions of the organization. ·        Management and oversight of IT processes including: system hardware and software, maintenance, back-up and recovery, security, interfaces, and new system implementations.

·        Interaction with internal and external stakeholders including department heads, vendors, Board members, and representatives of other healthcare organizations.

·        Supervision of and active participation in IT projects (current projects include migration of EHR and PM databases from Misys EMR and Vision to AllScripts PRO EHR and PM, completion of Kronos payroll system upgrade, implementation of IT systems at new clinic and program sites, and completion of disaster recovery system)

·        Liaison with other healthcare organizations in building the Health Information Exchange Network

·        Functioning as HIPAA compliance officer for the organization.

 

Required Skills:

·        Bachelor's in technology, computer science or relevant field, Master's preferred.

·        10+ years of experience serving as a director of IT in a healthcare organization, or significant related experience.

·        Solid managerial skills and experience.
