Volunteer Application Process
Here are the five easy steps to becoming a volunteer at Sea Mar!
- Meet with the volunteer coordinator for an informational interview. This will be a time to learn more about Sea Mar, fill out a volunteer application, and discuss your volunteer interests and experiences. You will be given a list of current volunteer positions, as well as the contact information for each site supervisor.
- Contact the site supervisor in your area of volunteer interest to talk about current volunteer needs, specific position details, and a potential volunteer schedule.
- Complete the TB screening, which is required for all volunteer positions. TB tests are free in our medical clinic for all new volunteers.
- Attend a New Volunteer Orientation, which is held every two weeks, or can be scheduled individually with the volunteer coordinator. During the orientation, you will receive a volunteer handbook as well as your name tag.
- Begin volunteering!
