Cara Gresham started working with Sea Mar in March 2018 as the Clinical Supervisor with the Behavioral Health Clinic in Bellevue. Cara is a social worker and drug and alcohol counselor. She holds her credentials as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and as a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP). Cara earned her Master's in Social Work degree from the University of Washington.

Cara began her career in social services as a caregiver while finishing her undergraduate degree in psychology. She has worked in the field for a number of years including experience as with crisis intervention teams, crisis stabilization programs, community outreach, PACT and outpatient mental health and addiction counseling. Cara enjoys being able to provide support and advocacy for individuals who face mental health, drug, alcohol and/or co-occurring challenges in their life, helping people find hope and reach recovery. She also enjoys working with and providing support to her team at Sea Mar.

Cara is originally from the Midwest and now calls the Pacific Northwest Home. She enjoys baking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
