She then earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 2019. During her graduate studies, Courtney completed an internship at Mend Seattle where she learned how to approach therapy from an intersectional, social justice lens using Critical Social Theory by Kimberl é Crenshaw. After graduating she continued working at Mend Seattle as an Intake Coordinator and then as a Program Manager. Courtney also joined Mosaic Counseling Collective where she worked as a counselor serving individuals and couples primarily of the QTBIPOC community in South Seattle.

Courtney's therapeutic orientation derives from relational psychodynamics, narrative theory, systems theory, and mindfulness. She is currently pursuing certification in CETA to provide a structured approach for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma. Courtney sees therapy as a collaborative space based in trust and safety to explore beliefs and behaviors, increase self-awareness and pursue empowerment and connection. She believes that healing happens in community and in relationship.
