About the Job


Full-time position available for the Renacer Youth Inpatient Treatment Center in Seattle. The Clinical Supervisor will be working with adolescents with a primary Substance Use Disorder diagnosis.  The majority of the youth have a Mental Health diagnosis in addition to the SUD diagnosis.  This inpatient rehabilitation center is designed to provide culturally sensitive chemical dependency services to youth who are at high-risk and require constant care and empathy. The clinical supervisor will help prepare budgets and calendars with the Program Manager, and coordinate with the Program Manager regarding administrative and all clinical management procedures relating to residents.  The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for implementing the facilities program according to the policies and procedures.  Applicants are expected to subscribe to the philosophy that Substance Use Disorder is a disease and total abstinence is the long term goal for recovering people. Provides clinical supervision to all staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.  The clinical supervisor will run groups and meet with youth individually as needed throughout the day. Must have strong ethical and clinical decision making skills.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about the population served and the recovery model.     


Required Qualifications


  • Must possess certification from the Department of Health Chemical Dependency Professional Certification Board (per WAC 388-805 & RCW 18.205) and meet criteria to supervise CDPTs towards licensure.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in public health, education, or social sciences and a minimum of five (5) years working as chemical dependency counselor with high risk youth.

  • Dually licensed as a LMHC, LICSW or LMFT license preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
