The Child Development Center is a bilingual/bicultural center that helps children from infancy to 12 years old in building basic and elementary skills.
All volunteers must be adult/child/infant CPR certified and first aid certified. Free training available through Sea Mar or through the Red Cross (for a fee of $70 dollars).
Volunteers must have been living in Washington State for at least 3 years and will be required to complete an additional background check.
Sea Mar offers a wide range of community and social service programs for our youth and the elderly that are coordinated out of the South Park offices in Seattle.
Programs include Latino senior nutrition and outreach, Latino information and assistance, home care, citizenship, life skills, weekly radio program, and a boxing club. English- and Spanish-speaking staff are available to provide services.

Sea mar provides programs to support youth and educational achievement in partnership with the City of Seattle, Everett Community College and Monroe School District.
Services are offered by staff located at Sea Mar’s Cannon House in the Central District of Seattle, and a youth re-engagement program is provided at Everett Community College.
Sea Mar provides high school seniors and college students scholarships throughout the year to help offset the cost of higher education.
The Sea Mar Museum provides a space available to the public for community gatherings, meetings, and events.
