James Stout, ARNP joined Sea Mar's Concrete Medical Clinic in 2017. Before practicing at Sea Mar, James completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. He then earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
James has a background in chronic disease management, in-home care, emergency and trauma care. In addition, he is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
James believes in a personal, lasting, collaboration between health care providers and patients, working together to meet the needs of the individual, the family, and ultimately, the community. He enjoys spending time with patients, teaching and learning from them, and has a special interest in preventative care to meet the needs of underserved communities.
James and his family relocated from Tyler, Texas to join Sea Mar's mission to provide healthcare for all. He enjoys being active in his community and considers it both an honor and a priority. He looks forward to helping strengthen his community through leadership and volunteer efforts.
In addition to James' passion for healthcare, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, hiking, traveling, camping, and meeting new people as well as learning about other cultures.
