Dr. Samujh has been practicing pediatrics since the 1980's. She is from the Fiji Islands and completed her medical training at University of the South Pacific and the Fiji School of Medicine.
After migrating to the United States, she fulfilled all her requirements to practice medicine in the US and completed her pediatric residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is board certified through the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been treating patients in the Tacoma area and since 1992.
Her interests in medicine include behavioral pediatrics as well as child development and behavior. She is a strong believer in disease prevention in her pediatric patients through advocating and working together with parents and children. She is a proponent for practicing evidence-based medicine and stays current in her field. Dr. Samujh is delighted to join the Sea Mar group of physicians and is welcoming new patients.
Her interests outside of medicine include traveling, cooking, the arts, running and yoga. She also loves spending time with her husband, her talkative African Grey parrot, and visiting with her adult children.
