Blair Osburn - Mental Health Therapist
Education: Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling
Institution: Lewis and Clark College
Languages: English

Blair Osburn began as a Mental Health Therapist at Sea Mar Tacoma Behavioral Health in May of 2019. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon with her MA in Professional Mental Health Counseling in 2018 with special focus in counseling LGBTQ clients and mind-body-spirit connection. Blair sought out to work in a community-focused counseling setting that prioritizes serving a diverse group of individuals. Before attending graduate studies, she graduated from Western Oregon University with a BS in Communication Studies and then worked in university housing as a professional staff member at the university until 2016.

Her approach to therapy draws from humanistic, constructivist, existential, narrative, ACT, jungian, and somatic therapy theories and prioritizes the belief that individuals are the experts on their own lives, so therapy should honor them and empower them to strive towards their definition of wellness. Blair also has a background in working with survivors of domestic violence and strives to use a trauma-informed lens to any therapy approach used.

When not practicing psychotherapy, Blair enjoys weaving, sewing, calligraphy, collecting crystals, and hiking to explore the Washington scenery.
