Bryer Barmore - Child and Family Therapist
Education: Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy
Institution: Colorado State University
Languages: English

Bryer Barmore, MS, LMFTA, MHP began working at Sea Mar's Bellingham Child and Family Department in 2016 as a child and family therapist. Bryer completed his undergraduate work in psychology at the University of Idaho and then earned a Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University.

Bryer believes that all actions make sense when they are examined in context and as part of the larger system. The most beneficial and long lasting changes happen when as many parts of the system are involved in the therapeutic process as possible. Bryer prefers to incorporate family, friends, teachers, etc. into the therapeutic process to help support progress.

Bryer was born and raised in Whatcom County. After leaving for college, he knew he wanted to return to the area. Given Bryer's personal experience with the different school districts in the area, through sports, clubs, and academics, he is well suited to provide support and connection to his clients and their families.

When Bryer is not at work, he spends his free time with his family playing soccer, hiking, reading, watching sports, and staying up to date on different music, TV shows, and movies.
