Christina “Dani” Thompson began providing clinical therapy services with Sea Mar’s behavioral health clinic in Tumwater, WA August of 2017. She is currently working with the Tumwater Child and Family clinic. Dani completed her undergraduate degree in Human Services, with a minor in psychology and an Occupational Endorsement in Conflict Resolution, graduating Magna Cum Laude with the University of Alaska Anchorage. She then earned her graduate degree in 2016 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her graduate certificate in Integrated Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services with Adults from Southern New Hampshire University.


Within the state of Washington, she is recognized as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Mental Health Professional and qualifies as a Child Mental Health Specialist, Disability Mental Health Specialist and Ethnic Minority Mental Health Specialist with specific focus toward the American Indian and Alaska Native population.

Dani is English speaking and has a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. She has over thirteen years of experience working in the mental health field with a majority of that time working with youth. Dani is recognized in the state of Alaska as a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) trainer and strives to educate families and providers about the risks associated with drug and alcohol use during pregnancy.
