Heather Diaz joined Sea Mar White Center Behavioral Health Clinic in August 2018. Prior to Sea Mar, they obtained their master's in social work in June 2018. During their time in graduate school, Heather interned at Fairfax Behavioral Health, interacting with patients in Fairfax's inpatient and partial hospitalization program, as well as the Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) assisting in their Day Center.

Other employment experience includes work in family and single-adult shelters for those experiencing homelessness. Before entering their master's program, Heather completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and General Studies in Music from Gonzaga University in 2016.

Heather's professional experience includes working with marginalized communities, in particular Latinx and LGBTQ communities, as well as adolescents and young adults as they transition through new stages in their lives. Their therapeutic style pulls from a variety of therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as lived experience. Heather uses they/them pronouns. In their leisure time, Heather enjoys exploring Seattle, listening to music and podcasts, reading horror and science fiction literature, and playing videogames, favorites being Minecraft and Skyrim.
