Jeanette Palmer began working at Sea Mar's Visions Youth Treatment Center when it first opened in 1998, and became program manager in 2002. Initially, Jeanette was involved in developing the Visions program and setting up the diagnostic and stabilization unit.

Prior to becoming a counselor in, Jeanette's work experience was in business management and computer programming in Oregon and eastern Washington.

Jeanette has a passion for working on behalf of under-served populations, especially adolescent females. She believes in a holistic approach treating the whole person through education, nutrition, medical services, schooling, social skills, emotional regulation skills, spiritual connection, and physical exercise.

Jeanette loves the outdoors. Gardening, hiking, and water skiing are her current passions. She is active in her church and currently serves on the Church Counsel.
