Juan Carlos Gasca Aldama joined Sea Mar's Seattle Behavioral Center in November 2008. He started as a trainee and currently is a chemical dependency professional.

Juan Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo in his native state of Michoacán, Mexico. He attended alcohol and drug Studies at the Northwest Indian College in Tacoma, Wash.

Juan Carlos believes strongly in the empowerment of individual's through education to reach their full potential. He loves his culture, has a good understanding about the needs of his community and has a passion for what he does. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to help those who suffer from addictions.

Juan Carlos enjoys outdoors activities, especially hiking and camping. He also enjoys being with family and friends, going to cultural events, traveling, and he loves carne asada.
