In April 2011, Martha D. May began practicing mental health therapy at Proactive Counseling and Consulting Services in Atlanta, Georgia; Martha D. May provided mental health services to children and families assisting them by providing the following interventions: case management (assisting children and families with obtaining psychiatric medications and employment) and individual/family therapy (id est; psycho-education, conflict resolution training and/or assertiveness training and cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques).

From 2016 to 2018, Martha D. May worked for the mental health agency, Clayton Center in Jonesboro, GA. provided services to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health and substance abuse issues. Martha D. May provided them with the following interventions (i.e., assessment, behavioral therapy interpersonal skills training, treatment planning and referrals to adjunct treatment) in order for them to obtain quality lives.

From 2018 to 2019, Martha D. May was employed with Lifeline Connections in both South Bend, Washington and Aberdeen, Washington. Martha D. May provided services to individuals that were challenged with mental health symptoms. Martha D.
