Mimi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Pacific Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in psychology and religion. She is a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Washington State Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

She began working at Sea Mar in September 2016. Her passion is to support individuals, families and couples to rebuild their lives and relationships by overcoming their struggles in life. Taking a systemic and strength-based approach, Mimi draws on various techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, solution-focused therapy and trauma-focused fognitive treatment.

Mimi has worked with children of all ages and adults from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. She hopes to inspire clients by empowering, educating and encouraging them to build on their strengths and possibilities to move to a place of healing and wellness. Her goal is to collaborate with clients to improve their present experience of life and transform the relationship in ways that inspire a meaningful and hope-filled future.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Mimi appreciates the outdoors and likes to hike and kayak. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, weight training, traveling and watching foreign films.
