Naomi began working at Sea Mar's Bellingham Behavioral Clinic in 2019. She completed her undergraduate work in Human Services at western Washington University before earning her Master's of Social Work from Eastern Washington University. She has worked in a community mental health setting for 8+ years providing therapy, assessment, case management and clinical supervision. She is also an active member of National Association of Social Workers, serves on the membership committee.

Naomi lived in Japan for the first half of her life and speaks Japanese fluently. She has also enjoyed traveling around the world with her family. Her experiences with different cultures and educational systems have given her a unique and multi-cultural perspective on how we exist in the world. When Naomi is not traveling, she enjoys hiking, snow shoeing, reading, and spending time with her two rescued dogs.
