Nicole began working at Sea Mar in the Case Management Department, but after about a year transferred to Behavioral Health in Monroe. She completed her BA in Human Services and a Minor in Queer Studies at Western Washington University in 2013 and attended Skagit Valley College for her Chemical Dependency Certificate in 2015.
Nicole felt compelled to work in the field of substance use disorders after watching some of her family members struggle with addiction. She always knew she wanted to work in the helping field, but was directed to this work by her experiences growing up. She is especially interested in working with youth and young adults in prevention and early education.
Nicole enjoys traveling and storytelling in its many forms. But most of the time, she enjoys being home with her cat.
