Pei-Ru began practicing behavioral health at Sea Mar Monroe Medical Clinic in 2020. Before practicing at Sea Mar, she completed her graduate work in mental health counseling with marriage, couple, and family counseling at City University of Seattle. She's currently a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate and a license marriage and family therapist associate.

Prior practicing in Sea Mar, Pei-Ru worked with children, adults and their family in community based mental health agencies. She conducted one-on-one sessions and co-facilitated groups to help her clients in emotion regulation, self-exploring and empowering her clients.

Her therapeutic approaches are psychodynamic psychotherapy, gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family system theory and attachment-based therapy. She believes that people get stuck because of life circumstances and have the potential strengths to help themselves and she enjoys helping people find those strengths and be successful.

Pei-Ru enjoys the mountains and the ocean in the Pacific Northwest. In her leisure time, she scuba dives, paddle boards and camps.
