Emily Tully completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Washington in 2019. She received a BA in French from the University of Vermont in 2006 and spent four years teaching and traveling abroad in Eastern and Western Europe, West Africa and Peru. During her travels, Emily cultivated a commitment to the underserved and desire to narrow the health care inequality gap through nursing and health education. She returned to school and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University in 2012. Practicing at a large regional hospital in Asheville, NC and then for Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, she is eager to join the Sea Mar residency program to practice at the clinic level and develop relationships with patients over time. Emily strongly believes in health care as a basic human right and is dedicated to primary care, wellness and prevention.
