Teresa Garrison, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, began practicing at Sea Mar's Olympia Medical Clinic in September 2012. Prior to joining Sea Mar she worked for Valley View Health Center, Chehalis, Wash., and as a registered nurse in a local school district in SW Washington.
Teresa earned a Master's degree in nursing in 2008, and a post-Master's degree as a family nurse practitioner at Seattle Pacific University in 2010.
Teresa believes in being an advocate for underserved populations. She plans on continuing work in this field throughout her career as well as becoming an educator for future nurses.
Teresa enjoys the many amenities of the Pacific Northwest and spends spare time at the ocean camping and enjoying other outdoor activities including walking her dogs. She also enjoys spending time with her family which includes playing soccer with her daughter and riding motorcycles with her son, husband, and father.
