HIV Rapid ART Program Treatment:

We take HIV seriously and are committed to getting you treatment within 72 hours. If you have a new diagnosis of HIV or are re-engaging in care after being off medications, please contact us and we will get you in immediately, regardless of insurance coverage. There are now multiple options for Antiretroviral Therapy in the treatment of HIV. Our Medical Providers can help you decide which route is best for you. Although HIV is currently not curable, consistent medication can help you live a long, healthy life.

Prevention:

There are many preventive options to help reduce your risk of acquiring HIV including PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) and PEP (Post-exposure Prophylaxis).

If you have had a possible exposure to HIV, it is important to begin PEP within 36 hours of exposure. Please contact us immediately to get a visit.

Support:

Sea Mar works closely with local organizations such as CAP (Cascade AIDS Project) and SWACH (Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health) that can help with resources and support.

Syphilis

According to the CDC, Syphilis cases are rising in Washington and across America.

Treatment:

Syphilis is a curable disease. It is important to complete treatment as directed to avoid having to restart treatment. Our team will get you in for a visit as quickly as possible for treatment.

Retesting:

Typically, labs will be redrawn 6 months and 1 year after finishing treatment. Once treated, Syphilis can remain detectable in labs for the rest of your life. It is important to remember when and where you were treated to avoid unnecessary future treatment.

Chlamydia and Gonorrhea

Treatment:

Chlamydia is treated with oral antibiotics while Gonorrhea is treated with an injection of antibiotics.

Retesting:

  • If symptoms persist after 7 days, contact the clinic for additional evaluation.
  • Oral gonorrhea should be retested 14 days after treatment.
  • Labs can be repeated 3-6 months after treatment to ensure successful eradication of STI.
