Welcome to Child Development Center
Diana ELenes
Welcome to Sea Mar’s Child Development Center. We have been serving the community since 1994. We take pride in providing a safe learning environment for children, and we welcome the participation of parents, guardians, and family members.

The Child Development Center upholds and celebrates cultural diversity, focusing on a bilingual Spanish/English curriculum. Another unique feature is our intergenerational program in partnership with Sea Mar’s Community Care Center located on the same campus as the Child Development Center. Through this program, children have the opportunity to interact regularly with seniors, providing social skills and shared experiences for both kids and seniors alike.

Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for your children, and offer peace of mind to you. All of our teachers are state-certified, and are provided continuing education opportunities. We also help prepare families for life-long learning and advocacy in their communities.

We look forward to serving you and your family!

Children Served
The Sea Mar Child Development Center serves children between the ages of one month and twelve years. During the main school year, we serve children ages one month to five years in our preschool program. During the summer months, we offer a summer camp to school-aged children. Summer camp is on a monthly basis and is open to children ages five to twelve years.

This program is for 4-year-olds who meet the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) qualification requirements. There are two half-day ECEAP sessions that take place Monday through Thursday from September to June each year. Hours of operation for our afternoon program are 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm. Children in our morning classes receive breakfast and lunch. Children in our afternoon classes receive lunch and an afternoon snack.

All children enrolled in our program are eligible to receive breakfast, lunch, and two snacks per day. All meals are prepared on-site and our menus are regulated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture
We provide transportation for children enrolled in the half-day ECEAP, depending on location and family need.
